Earlier this week, we shared the rumor of a possible announcement being made for Demon Slayer. The news has finally arrived, and we now have the official theme song for the “Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village” arc.
The new opening theme, “Kizuna no Kiseki”, by MAN WHITE A MISSON and milet, can be heard as part of the World Tour screenings of the newest season.
The theme song wasn’t the only news to be announced. We now know the voice actors for more of the upper rank demons, which hints at what we should expect for the next season.
Joining the cast, in order of newly confirmed appearances is:
- Kosuke Toriumi (Guido Mista in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) as Gyokko
- Toshio Furukawa (Portgas D. Ace in One Piece) as Hantengu
- Mamoru Miyano (Rintaro Okabe in Steins;Gate) as Doma
- Ryotaro Okiayu (Byakuya Kuchiki in Bleach) as Kokushibo
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Sword Smith Village” began showing in Japanese theaters this week, and an L.A. premiere of the screening will take place on February 18th. Fans will be able to see the film starting March 3rd. This feature-length film will cover the final two episodes from the “Entertainment District Arc” and the first episode of the upcoming arc.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village” will begin airing in April 2023 and will be available on Crunchyroll, where you can watch the rest of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.”
