In December, it was announced that My Hero Academia has been added to the ranks as another Netflix live-action adaption of the anime and manga series. Exciting news to be sure, but what do we know so far?
As of right now, only a few details are known. Netflix is working with Legendary Entertainment to bring our favorite high school heroes and villains to life. Renowned filmmaker, Shinsuke Sato (Bleach, Alice in Borderland), is directing and screenwriter, Joby Harold (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Army of the Dead), is writing a screenplay that we are hoping is Plus Ultra!
It is yet to be determined just who will be part of the cast of the live-action My Hero Academia, or even its release date, but you can be sure we will continue to keep you in the loop – we are just as curious as you are!
What are your thoughts on My Hero Academia getting a live-action adaptation, do you think they will bring it justice? Let us know in the comments!
