Recently confirmed at Jump Festa ‘23, while promoting their upcoming musical, it was announced that Spy x Family will be making a comeback for another season, and that’s not all! We will also be getting its first feature film too!
There is no doubt that Spy x Family was coming back for another season after its gain in popularity ever since its very first episode aired back in April. Season one, with 25 episodes that were split into two parts, recently came to a close on Christmas Eve leaving fans wanting more of its loveable characters. Thankfully, we will not have to wait too long for season two’s arrival, as representatives from the series have confirmed that it is in active development and is set to air sometime in 2023.
As for its feature film, not much is known aside from Tatsuya Endo creating an original story, providing character designs, and supervising the production. It goes without saying we are absolutely spoiled by this series and it’s a safe assumption to say if season two and the movie are anything like the manga and season one, fans will adore it just the same!
